Organiser's Comments.

Fist of all a big Thank you to the competitors and all the nice things that you said and secondly to Ellen and Alan Starling for their excellent courses.

The idea of the West Woods Relays was that they were to be very easy to organise but also be good fun. The test of the easy-to-organise rule is "can the organiser run?" and the answer to the question for the second time was yes.

As I left home, I said to my wife that I thought I'd forgotten something - It turned out to be the maps! Ah well we seemed to manage.

MOK/SLOG are planning to put on the event again next year although possibly a little differently so any feedback will be gladly received. How about answers to the following questions?

1 How about having 1.5k, 2k and 2.5k instead of 3 lots of 2k?

2 Would you prefer to start somewhere else in West Woods (which would mean a less good changeover area but a bit more variety)

3 Any other areas that you think would be good.

4 Any variations (e.g more than one person out at once?)

Remember we have to keep the organisation easy!

And finally, a lot of you commented that we promised good weather on the pre-event details. I'm surprised that other events don't do this - it seems much better than leaving the weather to chance. However following your feedback temperature next year will be about 18 degrees C with a mild westerly breeze.
